Dan Deyoung helps his four-year-old granddaughter Chloe Deyoung decorate a Christmas ornament at Santa’s Workshop in Mount Berry Square. The workshop, hosted by Rome Artist Siri Gundersen Selle, is located between Victoria’s Secret and American Eagle. It will be open through Dec. 23. Opening hours are noon to 8 p.m. Closer to Christmas, hours will be extended from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Adults and children can choose from a variety of holiday gifts to make or purchase, including decorated plates and bowls, ornaments and picture frames. They can decorate and stuff a stocking or make a holiday necklace. Gundersen Selle also has a variety of handmade gifts to purchase as well as a series of guardian angel paintings on sale. Shoppers can also pre-order plates and bowls which Gundersen Selle will decorate and paint herself.

“It’s something different for the whole family to come out and enjoy,” Gundersen Selle said. “It’s a place for you to put a special touch on a Christmas gift. It’s fun and creative.”
