The Shorter women’s basketball team will take on NCAA Division II member West Alabama today at 2 p.m. in Livingston, Ala.

Shorter (6-4) is riding a two-game winning streak that began with a 59-47 win at William Carey University. The following night, the Lady Hawks used a key 10-0 run in the first four minutes of the second half to score an impressive 86-58 victory over Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala.

Over the last two games, senior wing Tamara Weatherby has averaged 16.5 points and 3.5 rebounds.
