Rome police say an 85-year-old woman was scratching and striking another woman, and they arrested her Thursday morning, according to Floyd County Jail reports.
According to the reports:
Ruth Virginia Dunwoody, of 10 Ridge Drive, “inflicted injury.”
She is charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act and remained in the Floyd County Jail on Thursday night.
