ATLANTA (AP) — A student has been accused of pulling a handgun during a fight at a Fulton County school.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the fight happened Friday at Creekside High School in Fairburn. Principal Brian Jones told parents in an email that Fulton County Schools police confiscated the gun.

He said the situation was handled swiftly.

The names of the students were not immediately released. Jones said they have been removed from school and will be legally disciplined.
