Sun Trust, United Community Bank, Regions, Northwest Georgia Credit Union, Coosa Valley Credit Union, Citizens First Bank, Bank of the Ozarks and Wells Fargo will be closed on Thursday.

Greater Rome Bank, River City Bank, and Heritage First Bank will close today at 2 p.m. and all day Thursday. All banks will be open regular hours Friday.

All state, city, and county offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Federal offices will be closed Thursday and no mail will be delivered.

Rome Transit Service is closed Thursday and Friday.

City of Solid Waste Collection Department will be closed Thursday. Thursday and Friday garbage and recycling will be collected Friday.

Remote Solid Waste Collection sites will be closed Thursday.

The Rome-Floyd County Library will close today at 6 p.m. and will be closed all day Thursday.

The Georgia Department of Driver Services will be closed Thursday and Friday.

The Rome News-Tribune’s business offices will be closed Thursday but a Thanksgiving Day paper will be delivered.
