Baird Shaw is also the author of “Life with Wings” and “Recipes, Rhymes and Reflections.”
Since retiring to Rome she has served on the staff of Trinity United Methodist Church as Minister of Congregational Care for four years.

Dana Professor of English, Rhetoric and Writing at Berry College, Sandra Meek, released her fourth collection of poems in “Road Scatter.” Meek presents poems about both the personal and the political. Many of the personal poems recall her parents’ last days, and how difficult it was to watch them suffer. The political ones cover war and the destruction of a mosque.
Meek was recently awarded a grant by the National Endowment for the Arts and is the author of four books of poems, “Road Scatter,” “Biogeography,” winner of the Dorset Prize, “Burn,” and “Nomadic Foundations.”
