Toys for Tots drive a success

Residents at Winthrop Court are committed to giving back to the community. Throughout the year they clip coupons to donate to U.S. military families around the world. The families benefit through saving on grocery bills and can use the coupons anytime regardless of the expiration date.

The holiday season offers many opportunities for residents to answer the call of this mission.

Residents recently collected three boxes of toys for Toys for Tots and participated in Operation Shoe Box. Winthrop Court’s executive director, Lisa Jarrell, said she is overjoyed to be associated with so many seniors that still make serving others a priority.
