Triple shooting in Atlanta leaves 1 person dead

ATLANTA (AP) — Police are investigating a triple shooting in Atlanta that killed one person and left two others injured.

WSB-TV reports that the shooting happened late Friday in southwest Atlanta. Authorities said a 24-year-old was killed. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.

Police Lt. Paul Guerrucci said a group of friends were gathered in a carport when the shooting happened. Investigators have not yet determined a motive.
