Two Lindale men were arrested Tuesday and charged with the burglary of a Park Avenue home last month.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

James Franklin Madrie, 23, of 8 Indian River Road, and Stephen William Martin, 20, of 667 Park Ave., were arrested by Floyd County police and charged with felony burglary.

Warrants stated that on July 10, the two entered the residence after prying open a window. Several items were reported stolen, including a laptop computer, a hard drive, a monitor and a safe.

Martin was also charged with a probation violation while Madrie was charged with DUI. Both men remain in jail without bail.
