Update: All lanes have reopened on Turner McCall Boulevard and power has been restored in the area after a power line was reported down in the area.

Reports indicate that a transformer blew in front of Bojangles' at 1507 Turner McCall Boulevard, and the line disconnected from it and fell onto the roadway.

Previously posted: Power lines are down near the East Rome McDonald's causing a power outage along the road and North Broad Street. Traffic has also been disrupted in the area.

Previously posted: 911 has reported that lights are out on Turner McCall Boulevard at East First Street, Broad Street and on North Broad. We are trying to find out why. Police have been called to direct traffic. Scanner traffic indicates power lines were down near Eight Street.
