Local rivers remain under a
flood warning in Floyd County this morning as the Coosa River near Rome was steady at 27.3 feet by 10:15 a.m.
Other rivers in the warning include the Oostanaula near Calhoun -- which at mid morning was at 22.4 feet and steady, over the 20 foot flood stage -- and Armuchee Creek, which was at 20 feet and slowly falling at mid morning (flood stage is 19 feet).
