Rome police were called out Wednesday afternoon to a report of vandalism spray painted on the doors of a West Rome church, reports stated.
According to Rome police reports:
Sometime between 12 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. Wednesday, graffiti was spray painted on several doors of the church buildings of West Rome United Methodist Church.
Reports stated the graffiti appeared to be gang related in type.
A church in North Rome also reported vandalism this week. Officials at the Apostolic Assembly Church located at 109 Rudy Street reported to police on Tuesday that an unknown suspect entered a building on that property and took a microwave worth $90 and a section of copper tubing from an air conditioning unit.
No suspects were listed in either report.
