A grand opening event will be Nov. 14 for the Normandy Inn at WinShape on the Berry College Campus. The inn recently underwent renovations, and Chick-fil-A Senior Vice President Donald “Bubba” Cathy will be among others at the ribbon cutting.
The renovations included structural enhancements to extend the useful life of the building, as well as a significant redesign of the interior to provide more versatility and to accommodate more lodging rooms and meeting spaces.
The inn is headquarters for WinShape Marriage’s Couples Intensives program, which is operated by WinShape Marriage in conjunction with the National Institute of Marriage and the Center for Relational Care.
“The renovations we made to our Normandy Inn facilities serve as an example of our ongoing commitment to strengthen marriages and to encourage the movement to revitalize marriage and family in America,” said Cathy, son of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy and overseer of WinShape Marriage and other WinShape Foundation ministries. “A common trait shared by our WinShape Foundation, as well as by Chick-fil-A Inc., is a commitment to constant improvement. We feel strongly that the newly renovated Normandy Inn will allow us to better serve those couples in crisis who seek our assistance.”
