Three people from Rome and one from Gordon County were jailed Thursday on charges of possession of meth after a warrant led to the discovery of suspected drugs.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Carolyn Marie Owens, 45, of 306 Woodward St.; Chelsey Kristina Edwards, 19, of 32 Ford Road; Jason Earl Edwards, 22, of 306 Woodward St.; and Joseph Anthony Taylor, 19, of 823 Franklin Road in Plainville, were all arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamines.
Owens was additionally charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drugs inside a guardline after she was found with Lorcet pills in her possession and tried to sneak some into the jail.
During a consent search at 306 Woodward St., the four were found with a quantity of methamphetamines in their possession.
All for people remain in jail without bail.
