You've got a point. Wonder if they'd go for the Washington Rednecks?

Miss Serpentfoot has lost the man she loved and cared for over many years. Most of us would be distraught under the same circumstances. He may well be the one human being who fully understood her. Or accepted her at any rate. I have always found her to be kind and intelligent. Her view of the world is very different from mine and from most people's. But it is most poetic. A sky funeral sounds like a lovely thing to have. Her process for getting there...not so much. I will write her and tell her how sorry I am for her loss. Because she must be grieving this death greatly.

FliesInTheirEyes, Thank you for validating my points. All my commentary is based on stated positions of GOP/TP leaders, pastors and church leaders. You replied with vile descriptions of a partial birth abortion, compared gays to the odious NAMBLA and spewed pre packaged Rush Limbaugh talking points. All of which were simply lies and distortions. I could not have hoped for a better example of the conservative mindset. Anger, resentment and hate packaged together with a mix of vitriol. Good Job... Rhuidean

Floyd County police are asking the public to avoid the rail-road crossing on Park Avenue in Lindale Thursday due to work on the railroad. Sgt. Gary Conway, head of the Floyd County Police Department’s Selective Enforcement Unit, said the crossing near Old Rockmart Road will be shut down from about 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. He said there would be very limited traffic allowed through the crossing during this time. Detour signs will be posted directing motorists to use Booze Mountain Road or Eden Valley Road if approaching from the south and Old Rockmart Road if approaching from the North. Conway said Norfolk Southern will be doing some repairs to the tracks.
