Dalton: Please define Total Compensation. According to you, are Corporations not allowing individuals to pay for a specific plan vs a group plan? I look at it this way: I do not want to pay for your lifestyle :smoking, drinking excessively, unprotected sex, obesity, etc.... The government is forbidding companies from denying you coverage, but the choice is yours on which price you would like to pay depending on your lifestyle choices. Why do I want my non-smoking employees to carry the cartons for my smoking employees? Pretty soon, the manufacturing jobs in this country will let you decide on your healthcare. Regardless of of the day or the year, Corporations have an easier fight in Washington lobbying for lower taxes than to argue with you over a french fry addiction. Freedom...right? I look at a single payer system this way: It gives more a greater "opportunity" to improve their quality of life.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Two officials say that Secretary of State John Kerry has chosen Russ Feingold, a former Democratic senator from Wisconsin, as the new U.S. special envoy for Africa Great Lakes region. A U.S. official and a congressional aide say Kerry will announce Tuesday that Feingold will assume the post focused, in part, on resolving turmoil in the Congo. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the information on the record before Kerry's announcement. Congo's government and rebels have been negotiating in Uganda since December under a regional bloc called the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region. The talks have often been set back by accusations over who is responsible for rampant violence in Congo's North Kivu province.

At least you will be able to use the tax return you receive that comes out of the taxes I pay to choose a better plan or eat out more often.... 30k Republicans can't live without their tax return checks..... Maybe we should call tax returns an "entitlement" too.

I think the name calling says everything. Sounds like to me the Taliban might be willing to play by our rules since they are dying everyday from drone attacks and special ops.
