Thelma Berry is the owner and wife of the late John P. Berry. Brent Beard has been employed with Berry Construction Co. Inc. for the eight years.
Why did you start in this particular business?
John P. Berry started the business in 1983, and died in July 2010. The business was passed on to Thelma Berry and me.
What makes your business unique?
We have always been known for our quality work. We strive to provide quality work with quality people.
What do you enjoy most about your chosen profession?
There is something different every day. The best part is being able to take a customer’s vision and make it a reality.
What has been the biggest or most interesting challenge to overcome as a small business owner?
The biggest challenge has been continuing this business in such an unstable economy. Another challenge has been having a young person run this type of business and trying to get through to people that age is not a factor.

We are a group of dedicated employees who are extremely proud of our work. We have strived to produce the same quality work and customer service that this company has been known for since 1983.
