Dustin Sharp has joined the staff of Floyd Physical Therapy and Rehab as a physical therapist in the rehabilitation services department.
Sharp works one-on-one with patients to help them improve their mobility and independence. Using different modalities, equipment and treatment techniques, he helps patients diagnosed with health issues or recovering from an injury that affects movement, such as walking or picking up an item.
“Physical therapy is such an important role in our community, and we are very proud to have Dustin be a part of our team,” said Jamie Steele Brannon, program leader.
Sharp holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in rehabilitative science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
A member of the American Physical Therapy Association, he lives in Rome and attends Metropolitan United Methodist Church.
