Although the weather has been hot, the players who participate in the Rome Junior Golf Association’s summer series don’t seem to mind the heat.

On Monday, the “RJGA Tour” made a stop at Meadow Lakes in Cedartown, and several players managed to put up low scores amid the high temperatures.

In the boys’ 9-and-under division, Hogan Ingram took first place with a 38, and Brayer Cowan shot a 52 to take second.

Eva Ellenburg took first place in the 9-and-under girls by carding a 55.

Cody Boazman won first place in the 10-and-11 boys with a 48, and Avery Stansell was second with a 51.

In the 12-and-13 boys, Miles Minge took first with a 45, and Brock Stewart shot a 47 for second.

In the 14-and-15 boys, Dalton Puckett shot an 88 for first, and Sam Shelley carded a 93 for second.

Josh Daniels won the 16-and-older boys by shooting a 76, and Dylan Guice took second place with an 85.

The RJGA will be in action again on Monday at the BEAA course for a makeup day.
