Betty and John C. Young
The couple were married on June 21, 1947 by the Rev. E. L. Norwood at his home.
Mrs. Young is the former Betty Nelson. She retired from Klopman Mills in Shannon. Her husband retired from Lockheed in Marietta.
They have two daughters, Betty Sue Davis and Mary Ann Landers. They have two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Rome.
The Youngs attend Calvary Baptist Church in Summerville.
