Lela Nicole Nichols and Jeremy Michael Dean were married at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Belle Terra in Rome.

The bride is the daughter of Chris and Cheryl Smith of Rome and Tony and Judy Nichols of Alabama. She is the granddaughter of Myra Holtzclaw of Rome, the late Lela Eloise Cannon, the late Carl Holtzclaw and the late Carl Nichols.

The groom is the son of Rhonda and Randy Herron of Rome and the late Michael Dean. He is the grandson of Sara Duvall of Rome and the late Horace and Lenora Dean.

Jamie Killinger performed the double-ring ceremony in the conservatory under an antique, white arbor decorated with beautiful spring and summer flowers and greenery.

A program of wedding music was an acoustic guitar version of “Here Comes the Sun,” “Cannon in D” and “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”.

Kelsey Jordan Wade, daughter of the bride, was the maid of honor. She wore a floor-length yellow satin gown. She carried a bouquet of long stemmed yellow and orange roses and pink Gerbera daisies.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a white strapless satin gown with a pleated waistline with pearl and sequin detail. She wore a white rose in her hair with a veil. The bride carried a bouquet of pink, yellow and orange roses and pink Gerbera daisies.

Cooper Jeremiah Dean, son of the groom, was the best man. He also served as the ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held with family and friends.

After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Rome.
