“This is the next logical step in my career,” Stevens said. It has been the best journey ever in my entire life being here in Rome. I came to Rome because of King and Queen and I really want to thank Barbara Ledford and Regina Rainwater at King and Queen because without their mentorship over the last 13 years this would not have been possible.”
Stevens said both Ledford and Rainwater have been encouraging at every step for Stevens to be able to step out on his own.
Stevens has three stylists plus himself in the new salon.
He chose the Second Avenue location because he felt it was a hub area, with Central Plaza and the new Velocity Fitness studio. “I had been looking everywhere and this particular place just felt like home,” Stevens said.
B. Steven Salon is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to7 p.m., Tuesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
