Friday marked the end of an era for The Frame-Up, 2100-B Redmond Circle.

Teri Taylor removed her custom picture framing mer-chandise from the store in advance of the building’s demolition sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Dick and Teri Taylor stared the business in that location 29 and half years ago when he was laid off from General Electric.

“It’s a liability, it’s a bad place on the corner of the awning across the front,” Taylor said. “It’s just unfortunate.”

The building, which was also home to the Biscuit Bucket for many years, is actually owned by Garden lakes

“Right now it looks like I may run the business from home and have a mobile pick up and delivery service to better serve my customer needs,” Taylor said. “My customers are so wonderful that they have said they would come to my house. My commercial customers I can go there pick it up and do it then come back.”

“It’s been a great 29 and half years but its just time for a different phase,” Taylor said. “The circumstances were out of our control.”

Long time customers can reach Taylor at 706-295-2816.
