Mississippi man charged with theft, forgery

A Mississippi man was in jail Thursday evening after he was linked to a car theft in March, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Herbert Morgan Berryhill, 23, of a Terry, Miss., address, was transferred

to Floyd County from the Polk County Jail for a warrant claiming he stole a 2011 Chevrolet 2500 Series truck from Riverside Chevrolet, 100 U.S. 411 East, between March 13-14. The value of the vehicle was listed as $31,765.

Berryhill was charged with felony fugitive from justice due to being wanted out of Mississippi on charges of forgery and felony bad check.
