Jack and Melinda Callan of Gaylesville, Ala., formerly of Rome, announce the engagement of their daughter, Maegan Meredith Callan, to Andrew William Campbell, son of Alan and Dawn Campbell of Lyerly. 

Miss Callan is a 2008 honor graduate of Gaylesville High School and a 2011 graduate of Georgia Northwestern Technical College. She is currently employed at Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome.

The bride elect is the sister of Will Callan and Seth Callan of Gaylesville, Ala., the granddaughter of Joe and Glenell Fricks of Silver Creek and Ila Mae Callan of Rome, and the late Will Miller Callan.

Campbell is a 2009 honor graduate of Chattooga High School and is a candidate for graduation from Shorter University in December 2012.  He is currently employed at White’s Alignment in Summerville.

The groom elect is the brother of Caleb Campbell and Jared Campbell of Lyerly. He is the grandson of Bob and Jane Hawkins of Lyerly and William and Pat Campbell of Gaylesville, Ala.

The wedding ceremony will be held at the Rome Church of Christ on October 6, 2012.
