DNR rangers ready to enforce rules during hunting season

As Northeast Georgians pull their boats off the lake for the summer and unpack their camouflage for the winter, those charged with monitoring the state’s natural resources are gearing up for the shift.

This weekend marks the opening of bow season for Georgia deer hunters and some hit the fields last weekend to try their luck at bagging doves. And while hunters are working their way into the fields and woods, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources is doing the same.
