Police: Man charged as habitual violator

A Cedartown man remained in jail Sunday night after he allegedly drove on a suspended or revoked license and had been declared a habitual violator, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Tracy Glenn Brannon, 50, of 322 Doyle Road, is facing felony counts of habitual violator and violating probation and misdemeanors of speeding, operating an unregistered vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Brannon allegedly drove his vehicle on Thursday on Doyle Road and was driving 63 mph in a 45 mph zone. The tag on the vehicle was not registered.
