The event returns with its trademark barbecue cookoff. Visitors can taste all the barbecue they can handle and vote for the People’s Choice Award for $2.
“Right now we have 14 teams signed up for the cookoff,” said Martha Macon Crowe. “You get to taste all that barbecue. It’s the highlight of the event.”
There will also be a free children’s area, complete with inflatables as well as mule wagon tours.
Arts and crafts will be on display as well as classic cars.
Admission to the park is $5 for adults (additional $2 to sample barbecue), and free to children 10 and under.
