Miss Wallin
Miss Wallin is a 2012 graduate of Shorter University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. While attending Shorter, she was the Missions Coordinator for the Baptist Collegiate Ministries, a member of the Shorter Relations Society and was awarded the Communication Arts Academic Achievement Award during her senior year. Wallin also was inducted into the Epsilon Sigma sorority. She is employed at Barnes and Noble in Rome.
The bride-elect is the sister of Tori Wallin Baker of LaFayette, and Jessica Wallin Bowman of High Point, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Evitt of LaFayette,. Patricia Langford of Rock Spring, Dewey Wallin of Dalton, the late Ona Wallin and the late T.C. Langford.
Dockery is a 2011 graduate of Shorter University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He was the President of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries, a member of Shorter
Relations Society, and was a sweetheart for the Epsilon Sigma Sorority. He is currently employed by Shorter University in the financial aid department.
The groom-elect is the brother of Jonathan Dockery of Atlanta. He is the grandson of Cleo Dockery of Waynesville, N.C., D. Eugene and Pauline Pickard of Greensboro, N.C. and the late Wayne Dockery.
A wedding ceremony is planned for Nov. 17 in Rome. Invitations will be sent.
