Betsy Ann Hardin and Ronald Alan Hutson were married at 2 p.m. on July 7, 2012 at Frost Memorial Chapel in Rome.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hardin of Rome.  The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hutson of Palmdale, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Jaskolowski of Alamogordo, N.M.

Dr. Gary Graves and Dr. Frank Wood performed the double-ring ceremony. A program of wedding music was provided by organist Justin Karch. Selections included “Canon in D,” “Trumpet Voluntary,” “Bridal Chorus” and “Wedding March.”

Sara Hardin of Rome, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Beth Cochran of Dallas and Jillian Homan of Acworth. Erica Hutson of Palmdale, Calif., and Harmoni Jaskolowski of Alamogordo, N.M., sisters of the groom, were the flower girls.  They wore sleeveless dresses of blush pink and carried bouquets of white and blush peonies.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.  She wore a white strapless silk taffeta gown with a sweetheart neckline and a beaded sash. A matching beaded headband and chapel length veil completed the ensemble. She carried a bouquet of white and blush peonies tied with white ribbon.

Justin Power of Alamogordo, N.M., brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Wesley Hardin of Kaiserslautern, Germany, brother of the bride, and Stephen Power of Alamogordo, N.M., brother of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Mt. Alto Baptist Church. Refreshments included the bride’s three-tier cake covered in buttercream icing and the groom’s cake decorated with Goofy. The couple left the reception in a 1929 Ford Model A lent by Buddy and Wydean Smith.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom.  Other pre-nuptial parties included a shower given by the ladies of Mt. Alto Baptist Church, a bridal shower hosted by Beth Cochran and Jill Homan, a shower hosted by Sara Hardin, and a bridal breakfast given by Kim Dillingham and Carolyn Rogers.

Following a honeymoon to Chattanooga, Tenn., the couple now resides in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.
