The Rome High School marching band is taking The Beatles’ hits “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and “Lady Madonna” to the gridiron this football season.

“The energy is there because people know the songs,” said assistant drum major junior Jessica Cole. “People are getting into it more this year.”

The Rome High School’s Sound of the Seven Hills marching band is led this year by senior drum major Diana Romo and two assistant drum majors — senior Lauren Tutt and junior Cole.

RN-T always gets it wrong. That quote was not from Jessica Cole, but from Lauren Tutt. Not surprising though because RN-T is notorious for these kinds of screw-ups.

Does it really matter who said it? Isn't the emphasis in the story on the band and not on certain individuals?
