Chris Jones, the former Coosa High star who is now the starting punter for the Cowboys, punted five times for an average of 37 yards on Sunday during Dallas’ 27-7 loss to Seattle.

Jones’ longest kick of the day covered 52 yards. He is now averaging 48.1 yards per punt on seven kicks this season.

One of Jones’ punts Sunday was blocked by Seattle’s Malcolm Smith and returned for a touchdown by Jeron Johnson.

The Cowboys host Tampa Bay next Sunday.
