You don’t have to be a student to use the Georgia Highlands College library — and during the month of September you can get a free library card as part of National Card Sign-up month.

That library card gives users access to 70,000 books, as well as newspapers, magazines and journals in GHC’s library.

To get a library card, go to one of the GHC libraries with a photo identification or drivers license.

The GHC library for Rome is located at 3175 Cedartown Highway. You can stop by at any time during operating hours, which are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m to 9 p.m. and on Fridays, 8 a.m. to noon.

Contact a librarian at the Rome GHC location at 706-295-6318 for more information.
