Adairsville man turns himself in after attack

An Adairsville man turned himself in late Monday night after he allegedly struck a victim in the head repeatedly, causing the victim to sustain substantial bruising, a mild concussion and a laceration to the head, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Justin Ryan Goeden, 26, of 307 Rail Drive, was charged with battery substantial physical harm from the incident that occurred at a Calhoun Road residence on April 8.

He was released Tuesday on $1,300 bond.
