Copper taken from restaurant AC unit at Papa John's

A manager of a local pizza place discovered that copper had been removed from the location’s air conditioning unit, according to Rome Police reports.

According to the report:

Police were called out to Papa John’s Pizza, 926 Turner McCall Blvd., Wednesday afternoon after the manager there found copper pipe from the unit had been taken.

He had investigated after he heard the unit making a “terrible sound.” The value of the copper was approximately $50.
