Mrs. Brandon James Price
The bride is the daughter of Susan Yarbrough of Rome and the late Charles Michael Brock. She is the granddaughter of James and Linda Johnston and Betty Jane Brock, all of Rome. She is the great-granddaughter of Frances Jones of Rome.
The groom is the son of James and Donna Price of Rome. He is the grandson of Mildred Price of Rome.
The Rev. Craig Sammons of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., performed the double-ring and sand unity ceremonies on the beach. The beach was decorated with wooden arbors with white linen drapery and coral bows as tie-backs with an ocean background.
Bethany Price of Rome, sister of the groom, was the matron of honor. Lindsay Bradley of Huntsville, Ala., cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Haley Irvinand Shelby Boyd of Rome, cousins of the bride, Jennifer Carney and April Mcginnis of Rome and Dani Hammonds of Cartersville. They wore knee-length coral reef strapless satin dresses. They carried small hand-tied bouquets of tropical flowers with a coral satin ribbon.
The bride, given in marriage by Kevin Cawthon in honor of her mother and in memory of her father. She wore a strapless soft white gown with a bodice which featured beaded floral detail with a tiered organza skirt and an A-line silhouette.
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of coral movie star roses with tropical accents of a variety mix. She also carried a single red rose which she placed in a chair in memory of her father.
The best man was James Price of Rome, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Neil Gordon, brother-in-law of the groom, Justin Irvin, Austin Boyd and Chad Carney, all of Rome, Brad Cartwright of Marietta and Jason Yarbrough of Hampton.
The ring bearer was Tate Carney of Rome. The flower girls were Rylan Irvin, cousin of the bride, Kiley and Kaitlin Gordon, nieces of the groom and Ava McGinnis, all of Rome.
The mother of the bride wore a champagne sleeveless silk blouse with a gathered neckline and off white linen pants. The mother of the groom wore a knee-length yellow dress with pink and coral flowers.
After the ceremony, a reception was held in the conference room at the Holiday Inn Resort, Ft. Walton Beach. Refreshments included a three-tiered vanilla cake with buttercream frosting made to look as if it was tilted and decorated with a variety of edible seashells and starfish.
The evening before the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at the Back Porch Restaurant in Destin, Fla.

Walton Beach; A lingerie shower given by Bethan Gordon at Mellow Mushroom; a miscellaneous bridal shower given at the home of Betty Brock given by Betty Brock, Loretta Webb, Teresa Ballow and Angela Simmons; a miscellaneous bridal shower given by employees of Redmond Regional Medical Center X-Ray department; a miscellaneous shower given by the groom’s parents’ Sunday School class at Pleasant Valley South in the fellowship hall; a miscellaneous bridal shower given by Sherry Perry, nancy Roberson and Caren Cawthon at Pisgah Baptist Chuch fellowship hall; a miscellaneous shower given by Lisa Bradley, Lindsey Bradley, Teresa Boyd, Haley Irvin, Shelby Boyd, Linda Johnston, Barbara Rassier and Eloise Peek for friends and family at Pisgah Baptist Church and a a miscellaneous shower given at the home of Connie Dixon given by the groom’s family.
