An elderly man has sustained injuries after his farm tractor was hit by a car on Highway 278, according to police.

The man, who remains unidentified, is alive, alert and being transported to a hospital by ambulance.

The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. near the Cowboy’s convenience store on Highway 278 in the county, police said.
