A Rome woman received minor injuries following a two-vehicle wreck that occurred on Turner McCall Boulevard in front of Zaxby’s on Friday at about 4 p.m.

According to Rome police officer Rick Robinson:

Anna Nicole Ward, 21, of Rome was leaving Zaxby’s in a gold Pontiac and pulled out in front of Lauren Taylor Bryant, 19, of Rome in her red Jeep.

Bryant’s vehicle hit the driver’s side of Ward’s Pontiac. Ward sustained lacerations to her head from the wreck but refused to be taken to the hospital for evaluation. Bryant was not injured.

Ward was cited with failure to yield while entering a roadway.
