A Rome man was charged Friday after he allegedly stole two laptops from Walmart, and then, during another incident, kicked in someone’s front door during an argument, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Joshua Wayne Crowe, 25, of 6 East Drive, was charged with two felony counts of theft by taking and misdemeanors criminal trespass, simple assault and third-degree cruelty to children.

Crowe allegedly stole two laptops, each valued at $698, from Walmart on Cartersville Highway on two separate occasions. Reports stated he concealed a laptop and left the store without paying on both Aug. 27 and Sept. 3.

Crowe also allegedly kicked in the door of a home on Woodruff Street on Aug. 18 and was yelling and screaming at a woman in front of an 11-month-old, a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old. The oldest child told police he saw Crowe kick in the door and yell and scream at his mother and was afraid.

Crowe remained in jail Friday night without bond.
