Report: Man struck house with truck, ran from police

A Rome man is in Floyd County Jail after being arrested on numerous charges for allegedly crashing his 2001 Chevrolet truck into a telephone pole, house and ditch without reporting the incidents and then fleeing from police on Sunday evening, according to a jail report.

According to the report:

Alto Terrell Moore, 40, of 305 Waddell St. also threatened officers with a beating as they held him on the ground to handcuff him. He was arrested near his home but the report did not indicate where the property damage occurred.

Moore was charged with felony terroristic threats, two counts of misdemeanor obstruction of law enforcement officers, DUI, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, seatbelt violation, improper lane change, failure to report an accident, reckless driving, suspended license, expired tag and failure to report striking a fixed object.
