Tanisha Miller, a 10th-grader at Pepperell High School, walked away holding the title of “Miss Spirit” in the 2012 Miss Calender Girl Pageant.

Aniya Roberts won the “Little Miss Spirit” contest, and Paris Williams was named “Little Miss Congeniality.”

Tanisha is the daughter of Tina Williams, Aniya is the daughter of Yolanda Frazier and Paris is the daughter of David and Wendy Williams.

The winners of this year’s pageant were Lamesha Crocker “Miss Calender Girl,” Victoria Frazier, “Junior Miss Calender Girl,” and Jakya Rowland, “Little Miss Calender Girl.”

The pageant, held this summer at the Rockmart Civic Arts Theatre, consisted of three age categories for contestants ages 5 to 18 years old. The contestants competed in photogenic, swimsuit/sportswear, talent and evening gown events.

The mistress of ceremonies for the evening was Joy Hill and the director was Coretta Green. Calendars and DVDs can be purchased at www.onyxpageants.com.
