Berry Head Coach Paul Flinchbaugh is looking to see great times right from the start.
"With the addition of these ladies and the full-time assignment of Coach Jennifer Dahm, we are set to make some big waves in the SAA," Flinchbaugh said.
"I see this incoming class fitting well with and complementing last year's squad," Dham said.
The 14 newcomers are:
Katherine Bateman from Jessup, Ga., swam for Wayne County High School. Bateman has also been a part of the Wayne County Piranhas swim club for almost 12 years.
Kenzie Bentz comes to Berry from Atlanta. After graduating from Lakeside High School, Bentz swam for two years for Darton College. During her high school career, she also competed for the Dynamo Swim Club and Lakeside High School. Last year at the NJCAA National championships, Bentz placed 5th in the 100 butterfly.
Rhoxie Ellard from Roswell, Ga., was homeschooled and swam for the Roswell Rapids and the Swim Atlanta club. She was a finalist at the state championships with Swim Atlanta and was a two-time relay record holder for the Roswell Rapids.
Chloe Fitzgerald from Bethlehem, Ga., graduated from Archer High School. She swam as a freshman for Dacula High School and also competed the next three years at Archer. She was team captain and high point runner-up in her freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Fitzgerald was also a scholar-athlete.
Jordyn Hebert from Smyrna, Ga., graduated from Campbell High School. She swam on her high school team for three years and also competed for the Swim Atlanta and Smyrna Sharks clubs.
Anastasia Kolousek from Franklin, N.C., graduated from Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. Kolousek made state in 2010, 2011, and 2012 and was captain of the swim team in her senior year. In addition, she is the record-holder at her high school in the 100 butterfly and on two relays.
Hannah Johnson from Grayson, Ga., graduated from Grayson High School. Johnson swam for Grayson as well as Summit Swimming. She qualified for Junior Nationals in 2009.
Megan Mullins from Buford, Ga., graduated from Mountain View High School. Megan swam for her high school team and was the captain during her junior and senior years. In addition, she swam and coached a summer league team at River Moore Park.
Elizabeth Orr from Clinton, S.C., was home-schooled. She competed with both a YMCA team as well as a USA swimming team. Elizabeth placed first in the 50 freestyle two years in a row and also finished second in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle and 50 freestyle at the YMCA regional competition.
Susie Phillip from Hanover, Indiana swam for Southwestern High School. She is a high school record holder in the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly as well as the 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle and 200 medley relays.
Michelle Pilcher from Cullman, Ala., graduated from Cullman High School. She also swam for Madison Swim Association. At her high school, she was team captain for 2011-2012 and she was also a recreational swim league coach.
Janelle Spanjers from Norcross, Ga., graduated from Norcross High School. Janelle swam for her high school team and has been on the Swim Atlanta team for six years. Janelle enjoys competing in the 200 breaststroke and also the 200 individual medley.
Stephanie Stadnick from Dunwoody, Ga., graduated from Dunwoody High School. Stadnick also swam for Dynamo Swim Club. Her high school swim team won the County Championships and she individually won several DeKalb County medals. At the high school state championships, she was a state qualifier and finalist and was part of her high school's 200 freestyle relay team, which set a school record.
Casey Stillwell from Newnan, Ga., graduated from Newnan High School. She swam with Coweta Currents, Summit Silverfins and Douglasville Stingrays. Stadnick is also a record holder in the 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 individual medley and also qualified for state in the 200 freestyle relay.
