Rome man charged with entering business

A Rome man was in jail Wednesday after he was charged with causing damage to a Redmond Court business and entering it without permission, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

James Tracy Maner, 39, of 58 Paris Lane, was charged with felony second-degree criminal damage to property and second-degree burglary.

Maner is accused of removing electrical wires from the commercial building, causing damage in excess of $500, and entering with intent to commit felony or theft.

He is also charged with probation violation.
