Lowndes citizens looking at new SPLOST

Leaders in Valdosta and Lowndes County are pitching a new municipal auditorium, a library, a new amphitheater and more parks in a new special purpose local option sales tax package.

The $150 million six-year SPLOSt will be on the ballot in November.
