John Ketcham, was helping his daughter Sara Ketcham, park the trailer when a brake stuck, apparently heating up to a point where a brake drum caught on fire.
Lance Wheeler, the caretaker at the fairgrounds said fire was shooting out from under the trailer and the first thing he did was to make sure that there were no propane tanks anywhere near the trailer.
Ketcham, a rides supervisor associated with Wade Shows, said that damages to the interior of the trailer were negligible.
