Berry College has unveiled its football helmet for its inaugural 2013 football season. The design was first displayed at a student talent show on the Berry campus earlier this month.

Rather than using the Berry Viking logo, the decision was made to use the bold “B” because of its visibility.

“We were able to unveil the very first football helmet in front of more than 1,000 students,” said head football coach Tony Kunczewski. “The initial reviews have been great. We are also very excited to announce that we will be involving our students, faculty and staff in the design and selection of our uniforms. We are very pleased that they will share in the building process.”

Details about how to submit designs will be coming in early November.
