A fire caused minimal damage to a travel-trailer, which had just arrived at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds Sunday evening.

John Ketcham was helping his daughter Sara Ketcham park the trailers when a brake stuck, apparently heating up to a point where a brake drum caught on fire.

Lance Wheeler, the caretaker at the fairgrounds, said fire was shooting out from under the trailer and the first thing he did was to make sure that there were no propane tanks close to the blaze. Rome-Floyd County firefighters extinguished the fire without incident.

Ketcham, a rides supervisor associated with Wade Shows, said damages to the interior of the trailer were negligible.
