The U.S. Postal Service letters offered four options — cutting hours, switching to roadside delivery, look for an alternate location like a local business to act as a post office, or moving operations to another USPS site.
The letters have caused some concern in the communities and County Commissioner Jason Winters said residents will fight to keep the offices open.
Local USPS managers will share the results of the surveys at the public hearings, which will be at the post offices. The Lyerly session is at 2 p.m. and the Menlo meeting is at 4 p.m.
