Man charged with burglary, obstruction, after early morning incident

Police arrested a Silver Creek man early Tuesday morning after he allegedly tried to break into a home on Lucille Avenue, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Devon Franklin Jones Jr., 20, of 989 Harmony Road, ran when he was told by police to stop.

He then gave them a fake name and birth date.

Jones is charged with misdemeanor obstruction, misdemeanor giving a false name or birth date, felony burglary, misdemeanor probation violation and misdemeanor failure to appear.
