Jennifer Coleman Puckett RN, a nurse in the Preoperative Evaluation Center has been named a Floyd Hero.

Floyd Heroes are nominated by peers, supervisors, volunteers or customers for being outstanding employees who serve as role models, inspire others and have an indelible impact on the organization.

Her nominator and medical director of the Preoperative Evaluation Center, Dr. Anne Cowan, says that Jennifer approaches nursing as a ministry, not a job. “She actively looks for ways to make our patients more comfortable or to make our process more convenient for them, often at the expense of her own convenience and comfort,” says Cowan.

A Floyd employee for 11 years, Puckett is a graduate of Georgia Highlands College and has been a registered nurse since 1993. She and her family live in Cedartown.
